Given Management’s purpose is to advise its clients and to provide professional solutions in areas such as business, accounting, taxation, finance, investment, translation and immigration. Our consulting firm is able to provide those services to Chinese businessmen and businesswomen in France, for Chinese companies and for individuals investing in France.
Today, Given Management is the only bilingual French-Chinese consulting firm conducting business in the South of France. At the same time, Given Management’s domiciliation services are certified by the local authorities and the local tax center.
Given Management was founded in 2007, in the historical city of Aix-en-Provence. The name “Given” stands for “Gestion internationale & Valorisation d’Entreprises” in French, which translates to “International Management & Business Valuation”. This particular name was chosen for different reasons:
- The wish of the company’s founder was to provide high-value added services to support the growth and development of its partners
- The commitment of Given towards its partners
To make it more accessible, the firm moved in 2010 to the city center of Marseille.
In 2012, Given formed an alliance with partner firms in Corsica and Paris.
In 2017, the same thing was done but this time with firms located in London and Beijing. It allowed Given Management to widen its area of influence and thus allowed to give its clients a better support.
In 2018, Given Capital was created by Given Management. The new company obtained an official license from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to allow it to operate as a real estate agency. The same year, Given Capital and representatives of the Chinese community in Marseille created 2 associations: the Alliance Sino-Française d’Échange de Connaissances et de Savoirs (ASFECS), which translates to Sino-French Alliance for the Exchange of Knowledge and Skills, and Nihao Chine. They are both non-profit associations that wish to help the Chinese community and Chinese students living in France to better integrate in French society.
In 2019, our firm teamed up with multiple e-commerce service providers established in Shenzhen. The intention behind this partnership was to launch an e-commerce activity between France and China.
Since it was created, Given Management always focused on humanism. It is the reason why so many different profiles can be found among our team members. There are French partners, Chinese foreign students who decided to stay work in France after graduating and also French-Chinese partners. All team members have a postgraduate degree. It includes language specialists in Chinese, French and English, senior consultants in the tax and business sectors but also experts in the trade field, who have been involved in trade exchanges between France and China for many years.
Our company enjoys a good relationship with Marseille’s educational establishments. It is the reason why students and graduates of said establishments often carry out their internship in our firm. This continuous flow of new staff has not only been renewing the structure of the team, but has also been keeping everyone motivated, looking forward to the future and the company’s development.
The versatility of the Given Management team represents a clear advantage during international exchanges and also allows us to avoid communication problems. As mentioned in the first paragraph, the company’s field of activity covers a wide range of services. It includes administration, accounting, human resources, etc. Our team is thorough, precise and wishes to be loyal to its clients and recognized for the quality of its management advices.
Our firm always make sure to provide practical, efficient and time-saving solutions to its partners. On one hand it allows them to fully focus on their main activity, and on the other hand it helps them develop essential skills needed in their field.
We base our partnerships on honesty, transparency, mutual support and we ensure the confidentiality of any information sent our way.
